A very simple dry fly/emerger pattern that works extremely well when trout are taking small midge in the surface. Treat the sparse hackle and wing with floatant and use this fishing fly on a floating line, look out for trout cruising up wind lanes and cast ahead of them. Choose the colour of the artificial to match the colour of the naturals if possible.
